1 JR HAKATA CITY AMYU PLAZA HAKATA(JR博多シティアミュプラザ博多)
The largest station building directly connected to JR Hakata station.
One of biggest shopping mall which has many kinds of restaurant on the 9F and 10F called Kuten (くうてん）So you can enjoy for shopping and eating.
The “Tsubame no Mori Hiroba” on the rooftop is 60 meters from the ground and offers panoramic views of Fukuoka!!
it is a spot that families can enjoy, such as the “railroad shrine” and mini trains.

2 CANAL CITY HAKATA (キャナルシティ博多)
Next to Grand Hyatt Hotel.
There are a musical theater and a movie theather so it is full of entertaiment.
A dynamic fountation show can be enjoyed everyday.
I especially recommend MUJI shop that has only 2 shops in Japan!
It is the largest size of shop and there are 5000 items in there!
There is also space where you can relax while reading a book, and you can enjoy shopping!

3 FUKUOKA TOWER
It is knows as a symbol of Fukuoka. Nice see view, night view from observatory which has 120 meters height.
At night time, various illuminations are lit and it is very beautiful, so it is recommended to go there at night!
Fukuoka Tower is certified as a sacred place for lovers and it is recommended as a dating spot.

4 Marine World Uminonakamichi
Marine World Uminonakamichi , located 30 mins from the city center, has been a popular tourist spot as an aquarium for people since it was renewed in 2017.
you can see a powerful dolphin&sea lion show in the background of Hakata Bay.
I recommend eating a restaurant while watching the swimming dolphins.
children will surely be enjoyed to have a meal with dolphins!
Please sit in the special seat in front of the aquarium.

5 Uminonakamichi Seaside Park
This park next to the aquarium is so large!
Many attractions such as seasonal flowers, “Animal forest” where you can interact with animals, small amusement parks and athletic playgrounds that children can enjoy. In summer time, children can enjoy with pool!
There is also a day campground that you can enjoy BBQ without bring in.

6 DAZAIFU TENMANGU (大宰府天満宮）
This sharine is very famous in good luck for study!!
There are 6000 plum trees planted in the precincts. From February to March, the precincts will be brilliantly colored.
Umegaemochi, a famous sweets of plum, has plenty of anko in the savory-baked rice cake.
if you go to Dazaifu, this is the sweets you should definitely eat and you should eat it with Japanese tea. it is amazing!
There are many shops lined up on the street in the shrine so it is recommended to buy souvenirs.
7 MARINOA CITY OUTLET
170 shops in the outlet and biggest outlet mall in the Kyusyu part.
Please try a Ferris wheel as well!!

8 KUSIDA SHRINE（櫛田神社）
Kushida Shrine is a shrine associated with Hakata’s reprensentive festival called “Hakata Gion Yamagasa”.
The large Yamagasa used for the festival is displayed, and there are many tourists who come to see it!
When you are visiting there, please try to have a small sip the water in the well. It is said that drinking it will lead yo a longer life.

9 ASAHI BEER FACTORY
You can visit the Asahi Beer factory, one of largest beer product company.
It is a great sightseeing spot for a big fan of beer as you can thoroughly observe the process of beer production.
After the tour, you can sample up to 3 glasses of fresh beer for FREE.
Good access from Hakata station so you should make a plan to go there.
Participation fee is FREE and reservation is required.

10 Kyushu National Museum
the “Kyushu National Museum” is especially recommended for those who want to experience Japanese culture and art.
it is attractive that there are many exhibits that you can not only see, but also touch, smell and experience with your five senses.
The collection of over 1,000 items includes three national treasures and more than 40 important cultural treasures as well.
There is also a space that children can enjoy so it is recommended for families.
